Halloween Festivities!

Oops, none of these pictures are in the right order.... Does anyone know how I can rearrange them after I have uploaded them? We'll the top left is Clara with Grandpa Craig on halloween. The look on her face was so cute I couldn't resist posting it. The picture next to it is Maggie- clearly miserable. (but cute!) And then there's Clara on our porch at the beginning of the night before we headed out to trunk or treat or Grandparents. The last picure below is Clara a week before halloween at the hogle zoo's "Boo at the Zoo". Which was a blast and even John and I had some fun.

Daddy Daughter Time.....

One of Clara's favorite activities is when she can scoop doggie poo with John in the backyard. As soon as she hears our back door open she comes running screaming "scoop poo poo's daddy!!"

As you can see here in the second picture, Clara sometimes heads out on her own in hunt of poo.
My apologies if this is an inappropriate thing to blog about- sometimes I have a hard time deciphering whats only cute to a mother...

At Clara's birthday dinner Grandma Joan gave her Bitty Baby a whole lot of accessories and the Bitty Baby crib was one of them. The next morning I came in and discovered that Clara also liked Bitty's crib. We explained to her it was meant for Bitty and she reluctantly climbed out, I am very curious if she actually slept in it and for how long? Looks like a long and uncomfortable night to me!

Clara's Birthday!! (two months ago...)

So I realize just how late I am on this post. It has almost been two month's time since her birthday- but better late than never!

Our little Clara was born on September 9, 2006, at 7:08 pm, She weighed in at 5 lbs 14 oz. and was 18 inches long and was a very sweet baby. She is two now- and one crazy toddler. She LOVES Pooh Bear and looks forward to the chocolate milk sippy cup she gets each night at bedtime. She absolutely adores reading "stories" and is best friends with our dog Maggie. She is a chatter box now and will talk to anyone who will listen, she also really enjoys singing, especially church hymns- it doesn't matter that she doesn't know the words because she makes them up!! Clara loves to pray and will remind us at every meal and bedtime if we forget. She has been a joy since we took her home from the hospital and we are very excited to have another year with our sweet angel.
