Happy Birthday to my Sweet Girl!! I cannot believe you are 1 year old! It feels like just yesterday I had just had my sweet little bean! Edie's birthday was on March 17th (our St. Patrick's Day baby!). We had a fun day. When she woke up we let her open some presents in our bed from Grumpy and Mimi.
John and I got her a little Fischer Price "flinstone" car. Edie was very excited, her and Clara spent the better part of the day playing with it.
It It really isn't a two person car however. . . . Clara could hardly wait to share the car- so she suggested the both climb in. Edie wasn't too thrilled with this!
That evening we had Edie Bean's 1st Birthday party!
Edie enjoyed her cake and we sang Happy Birthday to her. She also opened some presents- thank you to everyone!
The Sunday before we had a little mini birthday celebration at Great Aunt Helen's. We had chocolate cupcakes with pink frosting and Edie had her first taste of cake/icing. She seemed to really enjoy it!
I couldn't help but post a picture of Edie as a new baby. She is actually 5 weeks old here, but Ican't believe how tiny she was and how much she has grown! Edie was 7 lbs 8 oz. and 19 inches long. She was born at 6:08 AM and she was a very happy/peaceful baby even when she was first born. She was alert and she hardly ever cried. She has kept that same sweet disposition ever since she was born. We are so lucky to have her!
